5ltrs full with a can of 340ml goodness

Its been a while no updates no write ups,I feel ashamed but i have been caught up by day to day survival and i do apologise to myself ,for letting myself down.Moving right along i thought 340ml my favorite jozi based band performed last Wednesday in OST Newtown.The venue in its design is tiny and this larger than life 4 men band was squeezed in and the fans including my self followed I fought my way to the front to get a glimpse of these guys,it was packed and boiling hot.The performance was great lovely yummy people in abundance .great night and here a pics to help me remember the feeling i had that night.

SPACE

I grew up sharing a bedroom with my 2 younger sisters,to me this was normal we had our space,but as i grew up i found myself needing more space and privacy so i moved to the city.In the city especially in my hood Yeoville the concept of space is quite interesting people rent a room in a flat and then others would rent space in that room,so privacy seems to be the least of their concern,because all they're after is their piece of space they could call "my place".All the people i photographed in this series lives around the Bellevue area they all share their space with others ,but one thing they do is own that little space they rent and call my place.

I MISS AND LOVE

Sitting back in my subconscious space Frank popped in my heart and i realised how sad our industry is we loose the most talented players who ought to be teachers to greener pastures ,for those who have no clue what I am talking about Frank Papa Tia and Ditoro bass player for Kwani the most famous unknown band in S.A. i miss him wish he was around to clown around and inspire those around him ,I miss our Heart to heart talk I miss to hear you dream aloud,the picture of him was taken at the bassline in June after the FIFA opening concert in Orlando Stadium.

The other cutie pie is Boitumelo,Rudo Amani(Love ,Peace,Happiness)our daughter who is gone on Holiday with Granny and her Aunties,appreciate the break but damn i miss her cute ears and her Many questions but i miss her hugs to oh and her singing the house feels empty without u sweets

Please note that the Out In Africa Film Festival will be screening a film, commissioned by the SABC and co-directed by Peter Goldsmid and Zanele Muholi, called Difficult Love.
It is a portrait of Zanele, and her work.
They will be screening once in Jozi at Bioscope (http://www.thebioscope.co.za) at 286 Fox Street on Monday, 25 October, and once in CT On Broadway (44 LONG STREET, Cape Town (corner of Hout Street) on Monday 1 November both will show at 7 pm.
